Hexapod is a small scale flat-pack CNC fabricated coffee table for everyday use. This proposal is made collaboratively through a 3D design software that was transferred to a CNC mill. A flat top with chamfered edges allows the user to navigate around it easily without ever running into the sharp edges. Two units lock into routed holes within the legs for lateral support. Hexapod is a reimagination of our standard coffee table design for contemporary smaller units and homes. 6 legs is truly better than 4! Photos by Mark Wilson.
