The maize crop when dried becomes a rigid building material. It can then be attached by small brackets and become an adjustable facade to manipulate the apertures according to climate.
The Structure collects water and sunlight to support the growth of the three sisters. The maize supports the beans and later becomes building material, the beans provide nitrogen and structural support for the vessel, and the squash shades out the weeds and critters.
These three crops symbiotically create a vessel in which the occupant can live. A living, breathing, structure.
